This one is so simple and effortless and the results are so cute! All you need to do is buy some super cute holiday PJs. We all know there is nothing cuter than these bright coloured onesies. So dress up your little one in a cuddly red-green outfit and add that cuteness quotient to your shoot.

Let them be the gift!
As parents we all know babies are such a gift! So let’s get literal and let them be the gift you photograph! Wrap a huge box (big enough for your little one to sit inside) with a colourful paper or cloth. Stuff in a soft blanket and some cotton and lay your little one on top for some adorable shots. You could also top it off by making your baby wear a Santa cap for an added Christmas effect.

Get them to read
There is nothing cuter than babies with books and spectacles! Books always work as a great prop, for any festive photo shoot. Pick a nice book or something Christmasy like The Twelve Days of Christmas. Dress up your baby in clothes that match the cover of the book. A cute little hat will seal the look perfectly. Bling on the lights!
What’s Christmas or New Year without some bling? So, go on and decorate your home with some fancy lights. Fairy lights work like magic in pictures, so use them generously. A nice lampshade in the corner of the room can also quirk up the setting. Plug in the lights and trail them around your baby on the floor. This requires close monitoring to ensure there is no electrical mishap.

Quirk up the background!
One simple way to make any picture look like a million bucks is by choosing a good background. Worry not, if you are not happy with any corner of your home. You could do one yourself without breaking your bank. Throwing around balloons, bright coloured toys, fancy floor runners, decor paper, stars, gift wrapped boxes will all make for great accessories in the background.
