If there is one author that immediately comes to your mind as you reminisce about your childhood, who would it be? Tough choice?
I know we have had our favourites at different ages as we grew up- but the one that has stood out has to be Enid Blyton for me. The author of more than 600 children's books, Enid Blyton was and remains a role model to writers of this generation too. Here is a fun fact you probably didn't know about her- Enid Blyton could actually write more than 10000 words a day- effortlessly! Talk about writer's block?!
The best part of being a parent is to revisit the books that you once loved as a child and to get your kids to read and enjoy them as well!
