Diwali is here and that means it’s time to sparkle and shine – you and your home.
While there are tons of ideas out there, simple ideas that we can make at home with the kids work the best for us.
The point of every festival is to involve the kids in the celebrations in every way so that they enjoy the traditions as much as we did as kids making them.
Today I’m sharing 3 DIY ideas that are so simple. Let me show you how you can use the same piece of decor in different ways to light up your home this Diwali.
All you need are
- Wooden Embroidery Hoop
- Glass Mirror pieces round
- Glue
- Rangoli colour
- Leaves
- Diyas
A simple yet so elegant DIY that can be pulled up with kids of any age group.
Mirrors add to the festive feel in a big to this wooden hoop DIY.
By the way, many such hoops put together can be used as a festive backdrop too, along with fairy lights.
You can make stick the mirrors both ways of the hoop/ring and hang them in your balconies or near a sunlight source. They also work as wonderful sun catchers.
You can also replace mirrors with faux flowers to make something new altogether. You can alternate flowers and mirrors as well.
Bring out the creativity as per your liking, ask the kids to explore with materials and have fun making them.
