Ever been subject to that constant whining from your kids when you are delayed at the airport or waiting in the car? Children don’t normally like getting creative until they are actually bored. And boredom normally hits them 13 minutes into the holiday – before the flight has even taken off or you hit the city borders.

KSP has put together three fabulous Portable Travel Kits that will make life easier for you and travel so much more fun for your children.

Our first Travel Kit contains a Portable Activity Kit which comfortably fits in all that child requires to keep them busy during the journey. It will save you the hassle of searching through pit-less backpacks for the things they want. Isn’t it amazing how much they can put into their tiny little carry-on?

Our box file has

  • Blank Sheets
  • A slate
  • A small Pack of Chalk
  • A Mini Duster
  • A Note Pad
  • A Mini Colouring Book
  • A Stencil
  • Stickers
  • Sketch pens
  • Crayons

Our second Travel Activity is an I Spy Jar. We have all played that game through our childhood. Let’s make it interesting for the kids by filling the jar with rice and then adding objects to it. Let them try and identify as many as they can. Great way to increase their vocabulary as well as improve their hand-eye coordination.

Materials needed

  • A transparent plastic jar
  • Rice
  • Tiny trinkets from around the house like a marble, sharpener, a bead, a pipe cleaner, tiny plant, a pompom, a clothespin, a feather, a binder, a clip, googly eyes etc

Our last Travel Activity is the Honey Loop Necklace which is as yummy as it looks. A string and a packet of honey loops are all you need. Get them to string it together and make a necklace.

Materials needed

  • A pack of honey loops
  • A snack box
  • String/Wool
