Thanks to social media reminders and planned activities at schools- we were all set to celebrate World Earth Day in our own little ways.

My daughters had penned nice write-ups for their school essays on what they must do as gen-next kids. I had added some amazing titles to their bookshelves from the curated list we put up at Kidsstoppress here. We have also planned some fun craft activities to help the younger one understand all about Earth Day.

With the weekend fast approaching, quality family time is something that we are absolutely looking forward to. The kids and we have had a tough last few weeks- being stuck indoors and reliving 2020 all over again. They need a little break and at the same time, they need to know about the stuff that is happening around them, across the globe. Last year on World Earth Day, we watch the special animated short film “Here We Are: Notes For Living On Planet Earth” by Oliver Jeffers, narrated by Meryl Streep on Apple TV+. When my husband and I were earmarking on content to watch on TV together for today, World Earth Day, and the weekend nights- we came up with some amazing names on Apple TV+ that I absolutely had to recommend to fellow Nature lovers too. Thank me later!
