My little girl is now in that phase where she is getting all excited about reading by herself. A few months ago, she used to flip the pages of her storybooks and spin tales based on the illustrations! Now that she is quite confident about reading, she spells the small words herself and halts at the big ones to ask me the meaning. This is the phase where they have learnt the essential skill of reading and just can’t have enough of it! Here are some of our favourites that we feel kids who are starting to read will find useful and interesting.
