Christmas means your entire family is gonna be together. I think that’s the most magical part of any festival. Today, the world keeps us so busy that we hardly get time to spend fun-filled family time together. This Christmas, when your entire bunch will be in one room, laughing, talking and enjoying some amazing Christmas delicacies– your heart will be the brightest shining ornament.

However, there is one way to make this time even more enjoyable and energetic and funny too!

How Can I Make A Christmas Family Get-Together Even More Fun?

Games! Want all the generations to laugh around together and bring out their competitive spirits? Games are your answer. We don’t get a lot of time where we adults can act like kids too and kids or teens to enjoy time with family… So, make the most out of these moments by playing these fun and entertaining games.

P.S. They are Christmas-themed!

5 Christmas Games To Enjoy With The Whole Family:

“Heads Up”

Now, this is a really funny but smart game. Write the name of classic Christmas characters on sticky notes and have each member paste one to their forehead but… without looking at what it says. Then, everyone has to help each other guess whose name is on their heads without saying the word. Sounds easy, but it’s not. However, it’s a guaranteed laugh fest! There’s also an app, for a higher-tech version. (kids would approve of this!)

Christmas Family Trivia

Get to know the faces around the table even better or some stories that you never knew about a family member with a rousing game of family trivia. Have everyone write down a little-known fact about themselves when they arrive. Ohhh, sounds fun already! Then read them out after dessert or whenever you’ve got some downtime. Ask everyone to guess which piece of trivia belongs to who and be surprised by the answer! It’s a game and bonding experience all rolled into one!

Christmas Mad Libs

Now, this is a must-game on this occasion! Get all of your [nouns] together to [verb] an [adjective] game of Mad Libs. The silliest, most creative or just downright weird combo wins the day. And believed me, your cheekbones are gonna hurt so be prepared for the laughter bonanza. It’s also a great way to work on the kids’ vocabulary, to sneak some learning into the festivities. Ahh, we parents… sorry not sorry!

Christmas Wrapping Race

Here’s a game a person who hates wrapping gifts perfectly would loveeee! In this game, instead of stressing about how beautifully your gifts are wrapped, gather all your fam-jam and see who can wrap their gift as quickly as possible. Sure, you may not exactly save paper this way, but it does take the pressure off the perfectionists among us. (or maybe gives them…)

Ring The Reindeer Antlers

Think of this game as the holiday version of the ring toss. Get some reindeer antler headbands or make your own if you’re feeling crafty. And then twist red and white pipe cleaners together to make candy cane-striped rings. One person puts on the headband, while the rest try to hook the rings onto the antlers. It’s super fun and every member is gonna love this! You can have a competition too, of who put the most candy canes on the antlers.

Don;t they sound so amusing! I can’t wait to play these with my family. Share this tip with all of your friends to make their Christmas a little extra fun and special too!
