Well, I am not a big fan of hopping through the Mumbai traffic and going from one end of town to the other but this is one exhibition I never miss. The kids market in India is gaining so much popularity and you have new brands, entrepreneurs each season that keep this space alive and buzzing. Ofcourse you have the veterans that you always flock too but the new ones that find their perfect launch platform at the Kid Town Fair exhibition.

Like all moms I have a mission as soon as I enter the exhibition and that is to find the best and not miss out on anything at all. You know how it is with women and shopping.
The 5 things that I watch out for
1. Birthday Supplies, Gifts & Goodies: This is your heaven if you are looking at buying back presents or stocking up on gifts for the Birthday Party season that goes on all the way till March. With personalized gifts, bakes and party supplies you are in a perfect place to kickstart your birthday planning.
2. Activities for kids: As always the events and activities planned are a lot of fun. This year they have Kidzania, Happy Planet, Fun Zone and Snow Wonder  so kids have a great time to play while you are busy browsing around.
3. Books: You will see a lot of bookstores &Â publishers participate making it a great place to buy some different ones.
4. Clothes: You are sure to find some new brands and great designs by a lot of home grown entrepreneurs. Some of the designers and brands will take you by surprise
5. Quirk it up: There is just no limit if you are looking at some quirky off beat stuff either for kids, activities or for your self. We like the tongue in cheek tees and rompers. You are also sure to find the latest cycles, rollers and sporting stuff for kids.
