I wish motherhood comes with a manual, but unfortunately, it doesn’t. For a mother, every milestone is important. At 3 months they start flipping over then crawl and walk.

 

At 18 months they start saying syllables/words. Like, everyone, I waited for my daughter to say those precious words ‘Amma’. I was furious when she didn’t try to speak and relatives asking the same questions about her speech shattered me. I thought Google might help me but, the more time I spent reading, the more daunting it was. Trust me your toddler is learning even if they can’t communicate it back to you.

 

I made a few changes in the routine and this helped us in the most unexpected ways which are what I am sharing with you today.  

 

Printable charts and flashcards 

 

This is an awesome way to attract the little one’s eyes and they are pretty economical too. Choose a topic like fruits, alphabets, vegetables and stick them on the wall. They will start asking for the names and identifying colours.
