We have all had our encounters with the big C over the last 2 years. Each wave brought with it a different set of symptoms, complications and uncertainty.

Kids have been largely unaffected by COVID and most cases have been mild. But there have been instances when kids have tested negative for the virus but they were asymptomatic and there have been complications post that.

Mansi Zaveri, Founder of Kidsstoppress spoke to Khushnooma Kapadia, a mom of 2. Her husband is a doctor and he was treating COVID patients. But they did not for a minute think that the virus would turn their lives upside down.

First, her daughter got infected and then her 11-year-old son fell ill. But he tested negative for COVID. But he continued to be unwell and further tested shocked them. He had a condition called MIS-C – Multi Inflammatory Syndrome in Children.

If you look it up, it is rare but dangerous. For a layman like me, it’s a post COVID complication that affects children and their organs. What was shocking and really stunned us is that he never had COVID. All reports were consistently showing him to be negative.

Khushnooma and her family have had a long battle with the disease now. And though her son is home now and on the mend, there are many things they need to be careful about. In this video, she shares her story about what they went through, his symptoms, how early detection can save your child and a lot more.

You must watch this mom’s story and know what to look for – it could save your child’s life. Don’t forget to like and subscribe to our Youtube channel to stay connected and never miss a new video drop.
