Disney film ‘Flora & Ulysses’ has just dropped on Hotstar and it should definitely be on your bucket list of things to watch this weekend. With the year that the entire world has had, we could do with such films, which make you believe that better things are around the corner.
What Is Flora & Ulysses About?
Starring Matilda Lawler, Ben Schwartz, Alyson Hannigan, the film is an adaptation of Kate DiCamillo’s novel of the same name. It is about Flora, the 10-year-old daughter of a struggling comic book artist and a romance novelist. She is in the middle of seeing her parents’ marriage fall apart and it makes her quite cynical. That is until she rescues a squirrel from a runaway vacuum cleaner and discovers he has superpowers.

Flora decides she needs to figure out Ulysses’ purpose as a hero and what follows is an adventure that will change her life forever. From a squirrel with superhero powers to a local pest control guy who wants to tame this flying squirrel, the beautiful friendships and family equations make this an interesting watch.
