Something as big as a global pandemic is bound to trigger stress. And stress lowers immunity all on its own. When you add in lost sleep, that toll rises higher. Plus, stress and bad sleep both impair good decision-making (and when you're a parent, decision-making is pretty much a daily job requirement).

Moms are dealing with a lot in the face of the coronavirus outbreak: managing their kids, managing the house and managing their own anxieties. Some have their kids day planned down to the last minute. While there are others who are just taking each day (Ummm minute) as it unfolds. 3 months of home with the kids, spouse and if you are working from home then that too, is enough to push any routine-oriented mom off the rails.
