Everywhere I seem to go, everybody is only discussing New Year Resolutions and I seem to be the one who hasn’t made any. At first, I wondered like all moms who keep doubting themselves was something wrong but slowly I realised I didn’t care. I will not let a bunch of WhatsApp messages and over-ambitious moms drive me up the wall for unachievable goals. Or wait I have different goals and you can’t move my cheese on this one.

1. This year I will make my kids learn this, that and whatever possible activities exist.

I will focus on their interest and indulge them in activities that draw out the best in them and enhance their capabilities.

2. I will make sure they behave like grown-ups

I will behave as a grown-up should and become a role model for them.

3. I will keep a watch on their height and weight

Instead, why not focus on introducing healthy options in their diet and make them stay away from junk food?

4. I will give them a lot more time

Why not be realistic instead and say you will give quality time to your kids so that everyone is happy?

5. I will lose weight

Instead, I will try and stay healthy.

P.S.: May 2023 bring lots of happiness, contentment and good health to you and your loved ones!
