Mansi Zaveri Of KSP was recently invited to be a part of the Surakshabandan ceremony at the Wagah Border. She witnessed the powerful Beating Retreat ceremony at Wagah border. The Beating Retreat border ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border. It’s carried out on both sides of the border by the BSF and Pakistani soldiers and was started in 1959.
She also visited the pride of Amritsar- the beautiful and peaceful Golden Temple. The Amrit Sarovar that surrounds the Golden Temple is said to have healing powers, and pilgrims come from across the world to bathe in its sacred waters.
