You may think giving your child raw veggies and fruits is super healthy. But that may not be the case. Many people prefer having raw salads because they think that eating vegetables in the raw form will help their body get the nutrients in the right form without getting degraded.
Dr Dimple Jangda, Ayurveda and Gut Health Coach talks to us about why raw isn’t good. She says
Raw foods like fruits and vegetable salads have active fruit acids, and fruit and vegetable enzymes which are alive! There are live bacteria in these foods. When these live bacteria in uncooked foods come into contact with cooked foods, they start reacting and fermenting due to their contradictory nature and release gases, causing bloat.
