What will our children be when they grow up? Will they be successful? Will they earn enough money? This is how our parents worried about us when we were kids and how we’re worrying about our kids right now.

We’re starting to understand that preparing our kids with necessary skills is more important than setting them onto a fixed career path.

We’re starting to see a transformation in how we define success for our kids and that’s the kind of conversation we need to have if we want to prepare our kids for the 21st century. But there’s always that urge to try and get our kids to become child prodigies some way somehow.

In today’s episode, I go over all that and more in an eye-opening chat with esteemed professors and experts in the field of education: Mukesh Sood, associate professor at IIM Ahmedabad; Priyank Narayan, founding director of centre of entrepreneurship at Ashoka University.

In this episode we go over:

  • How do you measure success?
  • Are maestros born or made?
  • Does success need to happen before a certain age?
  • How kids can develop a road map to where they want to be?
  • And more…
