Replica Theatre Village, Jorhat in association with the Dreaming Child presents KathaChakra, An Assamese Folk Theater festival for children, in the city of Delhi. 42 children from Delhi and theatre artists from Assam, come together to create a unique platform, where you can experience and celebrate the vibrant Assamese Folk Culture.

Theatre Performances by The Children, for The Children
With the aim to celebrate and preserve our rich culture, Dreaming Child has tied up with the prestigious organisation, Replica Theater Village from Assam. The children have undergone 50 hours of training, through which they have scripted original stories based on their own lives touching the themes of gender, justice and emotions. The children will perform two theatre productions on the 28th of April and two on the 29th of April at the Arya Auditorium, New Delhi.

Theatre Performances by Replica Theater Village from Assam
A musical theatre production for children, from the age of 4 years and above. It is a drama station of a touching story about a girl from the city, who finds her way into a jungle. Lost and alone, she meets with the tribals from that jungle who teach her other ways of living and appreciating life.

Physical Theater workshops for Theater practitioners, teachers and enthusiasts.
Rupjyoti Mahanta from Replica Theater Village Assam will conduct theatre workshops for adults.
