That has become my go-to home remedy for the kids is. Amla juice or Indian Gooseberry is a powerhouse of Vitamin C and exactly what my Nani would give us when we got a case of the sniffles.

Ingredients
- Amla Juice
- Jaggery/Gur
- Lemon Juice
- Mint Leaves
- Ginger Paste
- Water
- Pepper
Method
- Boil the gur/jaggery with a little water to dissolve it.
- Mix it well and keep it aside for 10 minutes. This allows for all the flavour to combine.
- Put it in a bottle & drink!
