I absolutely love the new trend that’s caught on a lot of new moms – the breastfeeding selfie. The moms in an attempt to preserve those precious moments have started sharing their breastfeeding pictures on their social media accounts. While in India the trend is not so hot I wish it would help in working towards  – 1. Breast is best and 2. Shy of feeding in public. While the later will take a lot of time and is a mindset issue we hope it helps the former.
Some are geared around challenging the incessant taboo around breastfeeding in public, and others are simply a nice way for moms to capture, and remember, their own magical experiences.
The images are not just selfies, but even while doing other tasks and breast feeding their kids, they still make it a point to click their breast feeding pics and share it over the social networking sites.
Teen mom 2 star Kaylin Lowry posted her breastfeeding selfie with her son.
While a lot of moms are open about it is is the celeb moms who have been quite social in sharing their nursing pictures. Gisele Bundchen posted this picture a while back and was quite popular on Instagram. Also, super model Natalia Vodianova posted a beautiful breastfeeding picture dedicating the same to her billionaire husband Antoine Arnault.

The good part is that all of them propagate “Breast is best”. other celeb moms who have been quite open about breastfeeding is Kourtney Kardashian who posted this picture at her Miama holiday.
