Calling all book lovers in the city!. Bookaroo is getting ready to celebrate it’s 10th birthday this week and they want you all to be a part of it. Bookaroo Children’s Literature Festival was first organized in November 2008 in Delhi with the aim of bringing books to life for young readers. One cannot stress enough how important it is to read books. There is just so much you can learn from them.

What’s Is The Stones2Milestones Bookaroo Children’s Literature Fest?

The Bookaroo Children’s Literate Fest happens every year to bring books, children, writers, and everyone who loves books together to celebrate the joy of reading. The festival in Delhi is always held on the last weekend of November. Perfect winter setting for a fun outdoor festival! They recently won the best Literary Festival Award.

So celebrations started in May 2017 with 10 walls across Delhi-NCR showing illustrations based on stories from some of the children’s books to be showcased.

What’s In Store For Children:

  • Over 50 award-winning writers, illustrators, poets and storytellers, including 18 foreign writers will be attending.
  • Have fun at Delhi’s first Ski Slalom.
  • Exciting stories and games at the Story Mountain, the original Oranginus Tragonus Transmuter, an Indian Beach and an Upside Down Forest.
  • You can witness two duelling illustrators competing in the Battle of the Brushes.
  • The best part is the entry is free and no pre-registration is required
