It probably runs in the family. Both my sons were born with full heads of hair, adorable dimples and razor sharp claws! While people oohed and aahed over their jet black hair and deep dimples, not too many people could overlook the scratches they had to endure when they picked my babies up! As moms who hold their babies a lot you know, it isn’t uncommon to have scratch marks on your chest, neck, and even your arms. Baby’s nails are really close to their skin and cutt ing them with a nail cutter is a definite no-no, so how do you trim those talons?

If you have tried biting them, clipping them with baby scissors, filing them down, or even hiding them behind baby mittens and are still not suffering scratches, let me let you in on a little secret. A mommy friend of mine passed this gem on to me after she stumbled upon it and I have never looked back.

This tiny tool works wonders! It isn’t too sharp to hurt or cut baby’s fingers and it is just sharp enough to slice the nail off. Remember baby’s nails are paper thin right up until they are about 9 months old and slice off with minimal effort with the trimmer. Unlike a nail cutter that might clip the skin around the nails, this trimmer doesn’t come in contact with the skin at all!

Try it, thank me later!
