We never anticipated this break- did we, parents? We never thought we would be stuck at home with the kids- and worse not get out at all? Well, sadly- that’s the situation. 

So instead of panicking, or worrying or cribbing- why not take a step back and make the most of this time? With malls being shut, parks being restrained, play dates and play areas out of question- the only thing we have for entertaining our kids is our quality presence.

Starting today, every night we send you one activity that you can bond with kids and try the next day with the kids. The list we have penned don is big so you know you want in on this! So Day 1 here you go- We have curated some of our fav shows and movies on Netflix that we will be watching with the kids, this week and the next. Where’s that tub of popcorn and pakodas now?!

Amateur bakers need to complete their challenge in 30 minutes! How they plan, structure, follow instructions and create a dessert is what this show is all about. This show will have you on the edge of your seat but will also teach kids how to perform when they are out of their comfort zone. To add to all the baking delight, the host is really funny and you will find yourself laughing all through the show! 

Sugar Rush:

4 teams and a new challenge every episode where they make cupcakes, candies and a big cake.  This show teaches kids how to accept defeat elimination and time management. And it isn’t all about soft skills. If your kids love cooking and baking then this is the show to watch to learn about baking techniques, finesse and how they can develop something tangible out of an idea. 

 

Martha Bakes – Martha Stewart:

Who better to introduce your kids to desserts than baking queen Martha Stewart? Watch as your kids are transfixed with everything from delectable desserts to mouth-watering savouries! Perfect show to end a hectic day with your family. 

The Big Family Cooking Showdown:

 

The family that eats together, cooks together? Isn’t that how that goes? This show is a delight to watch with the entire family because you have families battling it out for the top spot! Two teams of three family members cook in three challenges. Their food is judged by Michelin starred chefs. We bet you will imagine your family participating too!

Kids love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, right? This show is about dessert wizard Adriano Zumbo trying to find his next Willy Wonka! With huge prize money to be won and amateur bakers and chocolatiers battling it out to win, you know this is going to be fun!
