By now if you are wondering how to keep your kids busy over the Diwali break then here are some fun things you can do! In the past we brought you super easy crafts to do on Ganpati and Halloween. We now extend that to Diwali and make this one a learning exercise.
These activities can be done using an HP printer 3635 and we have even attached the printables of each activity. So all you need to do is print, set up, and get crafty!
1. Design Your Own Diwali Light
Want to make, design, and show off your own lantern this Diwali? Super easy and simple and your children will have so much fun doing this! All you need to do is print out a picture that screams Diwali. This could be one from your family archives or something generic. Then take a mason jar and wrap it tightly around it. Light the mason jar with your favourite fairy lights and voila! Watch your lantern light up dark corners this Diwali!

2. Family Tree
Have your children asked you about extended family and just how many uncles, aunts, cousins, buas, mausis, and chachas they have? Then this Diwali why not show them! Get togethers with family will be fun this year when they can show off their homemade family tree!
All you need to do is this:
- Print out profile pictures of  each member of the family. You can get them on Facebook, old family albums, or wedding family pictures.
- Get your kids to stick these pictures in order of hierarchy.
You could even make this a card and send it to family members for Diwali as homemade greeting cards! Won’t that be a treat for the family this festive season!
