One of my favourite things to do with my child is gaze at the night sky and spot the moon, stars and the constellations with him. Of course, it isn’t every day that we get to see the stars in Mumbai but when we do, my son has a ton of questions about the galaxy and the Milky Way and outer space.

How do you keep their interest and curiosity alive? By indulging it! Here is a simple DIY video on how to make galaxy slime using just two simple ingredients – glue and borax! 

Here is what you need:

Ingredients: 

  • Coloured glitter: Red, blue, green
  • Food colouring: Red and blue
  • Glue
  • Borax
  • Water

Method:

  1. Mix 50 ml of glue with water and stir till it is combined
  2. Mix 1 tbsp of borax in 20 ml of water
  3. Stir till borax dissolves
  4. Add some glitter and some food colouring to the glue solution
  5. Slowly add borax solution to glue solution and keep stirring till it all comes together
