These idols do not contain the harmful chemicals and dyes that destroy marine life.

This year, we request our readers to celebrate this festival in an eco friendly way by avoiding the use of non biodegradable materials like thermocol, plastics, and plaster of paris and instead opting for natural products in decorations or in making the Ganesh idols. Avoid immersing your idol or visarjan in natural water bodies and only opt for government assigned tanks.
