Ball in the box:
Packaging and delivery boxes that you receive at your doorstep are great to build a variety of DIY activities for your toddlers. This activity uses a medium size box (minimum 4” W x 4” L x 8” height) to create a “Drop Box”.
What you need: 1. Medium size box 2. Cutter 3. Coloured paper & glue (to cover the box, optional)
Trace a circle at the narrow end of the box – the circle should be a size of a ball that your child typically plays with. Cut a hole through. Voila- your child can now drop a ball in the box.
Raise the stakes: Cut out half of one of the tall sides of the box. So when the ball drops in the box, it rolls out from the side.
