The circus is in in town!

Well, not exactly, THE circus, but the human circus is in town!

That’s exactly what Stéphanie Morissette – PR Manager called the Cirque Du  Soleil, arguably one of the most popular and entertaining acts in the world today! Don’t believe us? Sample this. Cirque Du Soleil acts have premeired in 400 cities in 60 countries! How’s that for a world class act!

If you haven’t booked your tickets yet and you are wondering if it is worth your while, then Kidsstoppress has the answer for you. Watch our exclusive behind the scenes video and read our first review of the show and then, nothing can stop you from booking your tickets!

When you first reach the MMRDA grounds, you are taken in immediately by the red and white tent top, that took me back to the time I visited a circus as a child. The tent itself is 62 feet high and 41 metres in diameter and If you have been waiting for your kids to experience the grandeur of a circus then this is something your family simply can’t miss out on.

Bazzar – The double zz is intentional representing the time loop one senses during the 2 hour long adventure. Summing up the show?

A brilliant orchestrated show where every element comes together with precision. It’s a show where you will have your heart in the mouth more often than not and leave having tremendous respect for the artists who have spent years perfecting and creating every element in the act.

What to expect from Cirque Du Soleil’s Bazzar?

The 2 hour show with a 15 min intermission is packed with jaw dropping acts barely leaving you time to recover from the last act. You will watch trapeze artists, dancers, aerialists, mallkhamb, rope artists and bike riders as part of the act. The addition of two Mallkhamb artists picked from India add that local touch to this very international act.

Bazzar has 62 people, 22 of whom are acrobats and at most times the stage is full demanding yoru attention in multiple places. The story of Bazzar pays homage to the business of entertainment, to the company started 34 years ago by two street performers. There is a lot of foot-tapping music and many different kinds of dance making it feel completly at home in India!

Kidsstoppress got exclusive access to some of the artists and you can watch the video to see how they have made the circus their life and the amount of practice and determination that goes into perfecting their act. Definetely a lesson worth our kids!

Your kids will love how every little thing — like the costumes, the make-up, the music, the lights and all the technical aspects that come together to make the show an experience that is unmatched.

While Indians are quite used to seeing the trapeze act, the rope act, and even mallkhamb at the circus, on talent shows, or even as side acts on street corners, Cirque Du Soleil manages to take that up a notch with its professional infrastructure, timing, and sheer dedication to perfectionism.

Is it too crowded?

Nope! Seating is limited to 1500 seats and the area is quite spacious so even the seats at the back offer quite a good view. Of coure, if you are right up front it’s so much better!

Book My Show has created an experience that is on par with international standards. Right from setting up of the infrastructure, to the security, scanning tickets, to greeting of every patron, clean and accessible washrooms (big plus with kids!), and thanking every last member when they leave by bidding them good night is a real class act.

Great! How do I book tickets?
