As much as we talk about the onus on parents with children at home, and the added pressure of entertaining and educating them while they are indoors- we need to applaud our mini-mes for sailing through these tough days (and weeks and months) in ways they best know-how.
Now with schools starting to reopen across the country parents and kids are anxious – should we send them to school? How will the kids manage? The kids are worried about stepping out of their homes and comfort zone after so many months.
In this constantly changing environment, the future is going to be even more stressful than the present. Changes can anyway be overwhelming for the children and the situations with COVID19 has worsened the effects. There have been cases where kids are having social anxiety after being away from people for so many months. This problem is real and needs to be addressed.
