Kids have been stuck indoors for months because of the pandemic. It has been annoying, frustrating and sad at some point or the other. We have all been explaining the pandemic to our little ones in simple terms but talking to them sometimes isn't enough. Practising social distancing is hard but explaining the need to stay inside to your preschooler is even harder. Little ones might not be able to grasp what is going on

Kim Lawrence is an author who decided to make a short clip to explain social distancing and staying indoors to the kids in simple terms through a cartoon video story. The sweet story follows a bunny who has to explain to a bear why they have to stay inside. "The world caught a cold," the story begins. "You won't get the germs if you just stay at home." This is a perfect clip for small kids who can't wrap their head around why they need to stay indoors and not meet their friends and family.

Watch this video with your little ones and help them understand social distancing in simple terms via a story.
