When I was pregnant I remember people rallying around me to make sure I was eating healthy, stress-free, and even sleeping comfortably. But as soon as my son was born all eyes shifted to him. There were so many people taking care of a tiny human being and the pampering I had gotten so used to for nine months suddenly stopped! Pregnancy is not the only period when mothers need the most care. New moms need some extra care and pampering too! While you may furiously nod along, everyone knows a new mom can barely carve any time out for herself, let alone for pampering!
The Himalaya Drug Company understands this and has a little something special in their repertoire for new moms. Providing an opportunity for mommy bloggers to interact, Himalaya organised a soiree for mommy bloggers in Mumbai on 25th November 2016. The event was a whole lot of fun and gala, with new products for moms and other interesting stuff. Emphasising the brand’s message #BecauseYouNeedTakingCareOfToo, Himalaya has launched Himalaya For Moms, a whole new range of massage oils, winter creams, anti-rash creams, nipple care butter and much more for mothers to splurge on and pamper themselves.

All about the event and what you missed!
Providing an opportunity for mommy bloggers to interact, Himalaya organised a soiree for mommy bloggers in Mumbai. Set amidst plush greenery, the event was the perfect place for moms to discuss what would make them relax and de-stress As soon as moms entered they were welcomed with flower/floral tiaras which set the tone for the event and gave the complete event
Himalaya For Mom’s range depends on the tried and tested wisdom of using various herbs and the natural goodness herbs bring to any product. For moms to get an idea of how different herbs help, Himalaya created distinguished experiential zones aligned with variants of the product range. Each zone was crafted aesthetically to bring out the natural essence of the herbs and moms could move between these zones to experience the natural goodness of these products.
This was not all! The event also involved an interactive session with Ms Poornima Shankar, an in-house R&D scientist and a mother of twins herself and a pampering session for mums, to take some time off from their hectic schedule.
