Every mom who has nursed in public is well aware of what society thinks and says. From leery eyes to those who mom shame the list of haters is endless.
When Elisha Wilson Beach a mom of two in LA decided to post a pic to her Instagram account of her multitasking she just thought she was taking a cute pic of what motherhood really is, day in and day out. But she was not prepared for the barrage of haters that bombarded her social media account hours later. All she was doing was trying to appease her hungry daughter while completing her bathroom duties. But comments from haters ranged from “unsanitary” to “disgusting”!
Make no mistake there were also those who stood up for her and were quick to inform the haters that mommyhood isn’t always pretty and that they had, “been there, done that”!
Guess there isn’t an easy way to break the cycle except for moms standing up for other moms! Right?
