We're under quarantine. The situation we are in is not going to change anytime soon. We have flooded with Whatsapp messages of resources available online. We have so many Whatsapp groups that I have actually forgotten what has come on which one and where I can find something. So KSP is all about #SimplifyingParenting which is why we decided to make it easier for you.

Why not use the time we usually spend socializing to learn something new or simply sit back, relax and have some fun. Children tend to have different learning styles, needs, capacities, interests, and backgrounds. So let's use this time to discover what really piques their interest.

We've curated a list of things for every day this week that could set you on the path of loving the opera or fan the Harry Potter fan fire. All the resources are free. So, browse through and you never know what will catch your attention.

Let's have a look at what we've got for you.

Learn To Sketch Disney Princesses

Although you can't visit the happiest place on earth right now, that doesn't mean Disney can't come to you. You will be thrilled to know that their little Disney princesses have access to a plethora of entertainment right at their fingertips. It's simple: All kids need to do is grab a piece of paper, sharpen a pencil and hop online. The Disney Parks How to Draw Series on YouTube will keep little illustrators busy all afternoon

For the Harry Potter Fans

JK Rowling’s Wizarding World website has launched a new ‘Harry Potter at Home’ online hub, with hundreds of games, how-tos and activities for Potterheads – and they’re free for all users. Registering on Wizarding World doesn't cost a single Knut, and after entering your basic information you can take part in a Sorting Ceremony that will assign your House. According to Wizarding World, the page will be changing all the time, "just like Hogwarts and its staircases." You can check it out here – Wizarding World

Introduce Them To The Opera

During this difficult time, the Metropolitan Opera thought they should brighten up our days and introduce everyone to opera. This is not something which is not popular in our country but why not use this as an opportunity to do just that. It may just spark something in your child or you.

Every day a different encore presentation from the company’s Live in HD series is being made available for free streaming on the Met website, with each performance available for a period of 23 hours, from 7:30 PM EDT until 6:30 PM the following day. The schedule will include outstanding complete performances from the past 14 years of cinema transmissions, starring all of the opera’s greatest singers.
