India’s Silver Girl PV Sindhu is back in the news and she has made the country proud again! Pusarla Venkata Sindhu won her maiden Chinese Open Super Series title, defeating home girl Sun Yu- 21-11, 17-21, 21-11. The young Badminton star who has been on a roll with World Championship titles, an Olympic silver and now the Super Series win under her belt. She is reported to have said- “It has been my dream for a long time to win a Super Series. After the Olympics everyone was asking me what’s next? It was important for me to get a Super Series title. Life changed a lot after the Olympics. People thought I would take a long time to come back, but I worked hard.”
