Summer is normally the time kids sleep in, eat more and in general have a good time. Did you also go back to school after your summer holidays and measure yourself next to your friend to see who had grown more over the summer? I know I did. There was always a little excitement to see who would be towards the back of the line that term.
One thing I do every summer is that as soon as school closes, I make sure I note down my children’s height and weight just so that at the end of summer vacation we can compare how much they have grown! Currently, with everyone on this extended break, things have been a little all over the place in terms of their routine and their eating habits.
