We spoke to Ananad Chulani, India’s no.1 success coach about the importance of mental health, especially during the lockdown. He shares with us tips that are doable and makes us parents understand why me-time should also be the most important. How to work on mental health during a lockdown?

  • Take this time to make memories with your children, not constantly yelling at them.
  • He shares with us the right approach to talk to our children. If we are anxious, how we expect our children not to react.
  • He also talks about the importance of a more positive body language.
  • How self-doubt is our bigger enemy and we need to believe in ourselves. 
  • Choose how to respond to your children. 

How to feel positive?

  • We need to recharge our emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical battery. 
  • Ask yourself – what memory would you like to take back after Covid-19 is over.
  • Envision what you envision your family life to look like. 
  • Speak to yourself and ask what you want to do and ensure you exercise every day. 
  • The importance of connecting with yourself and deciding what your day is going to look like the minute you wake up.
