Pregnancy is definitely not an easy journey. Not just the 9 months, but life after that changes big time for parents, especially a woman. Working or stay-at-home or working from home, it is never easy, but moms manage to do it all!

We at KSP asked moms to write in and share their experiences of being mom-shamed, judged and ridiculed and we have received numerous responses from moms who have been victims, but decided to march ahead and pursue their dreams. Today’s story is about new moms need pure love and unconditional support to help sail in the mommyhood journey.

I am a software engineer-turned-independent artist based in Chennai. I am a proud mommy of 2 beautiful kids (a girl and a boy). After 4 years of working in a leading IT firm, I decided to give it a break and fuel my passion for art. I developed my skills and start conducting at workshops and shows for kids teaching them how art can be meditative with proper guidance. And just like any start-up initiative, I faced some losses with my art classes and work and I didn't get the right support from home at this period. And then when my first child went to school, I needed to spend more time helping her get to a routine, so discipline and method were inculcated right from the beginning. Not many agreed to this viewpoint of mine, but I was strong in my belief.

However, after my second child's birth, I have been losing focus on my first born, the household chores and my work front. Postpartum blues hastened the recovery further and I yearned for time to get back to my routine. All I want is support and trust to inspire me to spring back to my routine and not nagging and doubting my skills when I am already battling sleepless nights with the little one!

#JudgeMeNot with my temporary setback on my routines. I'm juggling more jobs now. Mother of two is no joke, and I need my own time to take care of everything.

Bottom line, I love my family, no matter what they judge me for, I just need time to spring back stronger than ever before!
