Can we ever have too many books? Nah, not in our household! Books in all format, all sources are welcome all day! From buying brand new copies of new releases to hunting for our favourite title at the second bookshop in the street corner, to coming up with a truckload of books from our favourite library, we do them all to make sure we have enough books to sail through the week! Science says this one habit does immense good to your child’s brain– so why not?!

The Magic Tea Cakes:

About the book:

This book, authored by, 6-year-old Sanaya Sengupta, based in Singapore narrates the adventures of 4 little tea cakes. Written in a language that kids will love and can relate to (coming from one of their own!). this book is a fun read for your kids who love to imagine and think different. What are the possible challenges a tea cake would face in this big bad world?! Read on to find out!

Ahimsa:

For ages: 8+

About the book:

Drawing inspiration from her ancestors, Supriya Kelkar has penned this book to tell today's kids how our ancestors fought hard, albeit the non-violent way, to get independence. Narrating from the POV of a 10-year-old girl, Anjali, the book describes what the freedom struggle meant for kids then and how it changed their normal course of life. An inspiring read for kids.

Enid Blyton series:

For ages: 6+

Can you ever be too ol' for Enid Blyton books? In the pretext of buying them for the kids, we sneak in a few pages of the works of our favourite author at bedtime- that transports us to childhood, instantly! We started on these new #secretseven series and can't tell you how happy it makes me to see the kids enjoy it as much as I do and wake up early or stay up late to finish it!
