It is World Disability Day and at Kidsstoppress we are excited about our coversations with Kavita from Learning With Veda, Gopika Kapoor on her book Beyond The Blue and Hufraid Billimoria , triathelete who has Dystonia and other dissabilities.

We aim to create a platform where we want to spread awareness so we can teach our children to be more empathetic and grateful for all that they have. We also want to share personal experiences of parents who are raising children who are differently-abled so it encourages other parents to not think it is taboo to talk about it too. As a society, we need to empower parents and children to reach their highest potential – and being differently-abled has nothing to do with it.

Today, on #FinditonKSP we discovered Beyond The Blue, a book written by Gopika Kapoor. She is a therapist at Ummeed Child Development Center and a mother to a child who has Autism.

What Is Beyond The Blue About?
