In addition to our previous article on  Craft Ideas for Maths, we added some more ideas to help your little one understand Math better.
1. Exploring Teen Numbers: Here is a craft idea to clear the confusion and difficulty to learn teen numbers.  You will need Spielgaben sets, Numbers chart, plastic cups, sticky-notes and marker. On two different plastic cups, write different numbers. Put the disks in the cups and let the child recount them after which tell him a number which he needs to create by putting colored small disks or small playdough balls on the number chart.  The combination of color and maths helps your child work on both.

2. Number Recognition and Ordering: This is a fun craft activity to bring out the creative side of your child and teach math in the process. You will need Paper Tube cut into smaller pieces and Foam number stickers. Let your child start counting and sorting out the numbers. Once done, ask her to start labeling the cut paper tubes with numbers starting from 1. You can also use counters, playdough & chopstick ti add other activities. Read more.
3. Play Dough Flower Mat: This craft activity concentrates recognition, counting & addition of numbers. You will need Playdough Flower Mat, playdough, foam sticker numbers and dice. Let you child roll the dice and depending on the number that comes, she creates petals using playdough. Start with one dice and then use two to increase the addition and get higher numbers. Once done, put the foam number in the centtre of the flower. Its advisable to let the sticker be on so you can reuse the foam numbers.  Read more.

5. Play and Learn with Numbers and Natural Materials: Learn not only maths but also about the different materials used in this craft. For this craft idea you can use pebbles, small sticks, acorns and foam numbers. Using these materials let your child recreate numbers in different ways either by counting the pebbles or recreating numbers with the sticks or even using acorns and foam numbers. Read more
6. Counting and Grouping with Sticks: Its all about numbers. This activity teaches numbers and even teach your child tally marks through these sticks. You will need Sticks/Twigs, Small elastics bands, paper and markers. Let your child start counting the sticks and making bundles of fives or tens. Tie each bundle with elastic band. You can then ask her to add two bundles together and see what number is created. As she does so she can write numbers on paper with the marker. Read more.
7. Learning Patterns with Lego: A kid will never get bored while learning through their favorite toy: lego blocks. This craft activity lets the child use lego blocks to create different patterns with different size blocks. Read more.
8. Pipe Cleaner Numbers: This activity is to bring out the crafty skills in your child while the activity also focuses on teaching number formation and number recognition. For this craft idea, you will need colorful pipe cleaners, paper and markers. Start by telling her a number which she can shape using the pipe cleaners. Or you could even let her write the numbers on a sheet of paper with a marker and then trace it using pipe cleaners. Read more.

10. Math Windows: Why not ditch the old paper pencil way and try this. Use window crayons and let your child move around writing on the window while learning his maths. Â Read more.
11. Bottle Tops for Tables: This is a great craft activity to learn time tables. Stick foam numbers on old bottle caps and learn the tables. You can make it less confusing by using different coloured bottle caps. Read more.
12. Maths with Pizza: Use this paper pizza to teach your kids fractions. Use different slices to make different pizzas and then on post its write the toppings as fractions. Read more.
13. Ice cream Stick Shapes: Learn the different shapes like Square, Pentagon etc using this craft idea. You will need Ice cream sticks,paint and a marker. Paint the ice cream sticks in different colors and write the shape name with markers. Let your child get busy creating the different shapes. Read more.
14. Hershey’s Kisses and maths: This craft activity is a definite hit among kids. You will need Paper, Marker , Hershey’s Kisses (other small candies or objects would work well) and Dice. On a sheet of paper write different numbers using a marker. Let your child count the kisses to add up the number and place them on the written number. You can even try this for alphabets. Read more.
15. Sensory Maths: You will need Paint cups, Clothespins, Marker, Tape, Paper & Scissors. Write numbers on the clothespin as well on a piece of paper which you can stick on the pain cups. Then let your child use clothespins and add the number as on the cup. They can come up with different ways to make up the number. Read more.
