It happened for real!
A super exciting fan-girl moment for us at Kidsstoppress and for Mansi Zaveri to get into this insightful one-on-one with renoewned historian and best-selling author Yuval Noah Harari yesterday in Mumbai.
This event was organized by Crossword Bookstores and Penguin Random House India at the Sophia Bhabha Auditorium, Mumbai. Professor Harari spoke about his latest book, “Unstoppable Us” for children and more on what makes humans the most powerful being on the planet.
Kidsstoppress, was exclusively chosen to be a part of this event, and Mansi Zaveri spoke to Professor Harari on human evolution, how storytelling came to be, and what we, as parents of Gen Z and Gen Alpha kids today can learn from our ancestors.
As parents raising children who love to read, Zaveri asked about the importance of non-fiction books for kids at an early age to foster curiosity and understanding. Also Zaveri asked Professor Harari’s take as an author on why graphics are an effective medium along with a textual story, especially in children’s literature. His earlier best-selling novel Sapiens, was followed by a Graphic Version for children, that became an instant hit among the young readers category and got children piqued about history and evolution.
