Hairband
We are all young girls at heart, right?! Try these super easy DIY hairbands to ring in the season of love!
Supplies:
- Foam Sheet
- Hairband
- Glue
- Heart Template
Method:
- Chose a simple, yet sturdy plastic hair band.
- Have a few heart templates ready made in thick chart paper/felt (preferably with glitters).
- Using glue, stick them firmly to one side of the hairband. You could choose a mix of colours for the heart templates.
- Allow it to dry. Your glittery hairband is ready!
Handbag
Running simple errands, this season? Step out with this adorable tote, that’s super easy to make!
Supplies:
- Cotton Fabric Handbag
- Fabric Paints
- Pencil
- Palette
Method:
- Sketch the outline of a heart on a plain cotton fabric handbag using a contact sheet.
- Sketch the outline with simple pink dots, using fabric paint.
- Make sure the paints dry up and set out for some ‘love’ly shopping experience!
T-shirt
Step out in style, this Valentine season with this adorable DIY T-shirt.
Supplies:
- Plain T-shirt
- Buttons
- Fabric Glue
- Bow
Method:
- Choose a plain T-shirt and sketch the shape of a nice big heart, right in the centre.
- Use bright coloured buttons (we chose red) to mark the boundary of the heart shaped and stick them using fabric glue.
- Fill the inside of the heart with similar buttons of varying shades/sizes.
- Don’t forget to glue a lovely pink bow at one corner of the heart!
