Geeta Phogat was all of 13 years old, when her father Mahavir Phogat decided to change the course of their lives. Geeta Phogat and her sister Babita were pushed into the big mad world of wrestling by their father.

Mansi Zaveri of KSP recently had a chance to catch up with Geeta Phogat. You have all probably watched the movie 'Dangal', but life was much tougher for Geeta than the movie showed. Despite the gruelling and extremely emotional journey, Geeta Phogat endured to become the first Indian female wrestler to qualify for the Olympics and she credits her parents for the discipline and push that propelled her into the big league. "Your parents or guru do know what's best for you" – You may not agree at that time, but she learnt that the hard way.
