The obvious first question in your mind is why cant I call a carpenter home and get this done according to the sizes I wish? Well that’s an extremely valid question and we quizzed Poonam, the founder on that for you already.
1. Convenience: You need to get a good carpenter and have him work at home, which is not something that we are okay with at all times
2. Material Matters: You don’t understand the materials used and you just need to blindly trust what he recommends. Here you have a reliable source making those decisions for you. All materials are made using teak wood. Questions such as which is the right material will pop in your head? E.g. Do I need a  10 mm ply or a 12 mm ply?
3. Expertise: You need to make sure its child proof with rounded corners and right proportion for sturdiness. With Lakdi Ki kathi you are outsourcing that expertise. If its a stool or a baby sitter what should be the ideal size? Yes there are standard sizes but is that applicable for kids too.

A lot of thought and care is put in each product which is made with teak and rubber wood to keep it long lasting. We would love to see more designs and options but believe its only a matter of time till it gets fixed. We would also love to see a lot more functional furniture for smaller homes in Bombay.
