One of the most fun milestones your child will achieve when they are young is the ability to enthrall you with make believe stories. To the young minds there is no barrier made by what is ridiculous, incredulous, or even plausible. They make stories of things they see, hear, and even experience. So as a parent, I feel like I can listen to my three year old go on for hours with stories he has made up in school and sometimes I even let him tell me a story during bedtime!
So I was thrilled to hear about Kahaani Express coming around for the second time this year around! ZeeQ, the children’s entertainment channel from Zee Network, brings ‘Kahaani Express’, an inter-school storytelling event that will give children an opportunity to let their imagination run wild and get their creative juices flowing.
 This event was so successful in 2014, that the channel is now reaching out to over 2.8 lakh students this year!Â
How It Works
- Before Kahaani Express officially kicks off, ZeeQ will organise interactive storytelling sessions for all its students.
- These sessions will see expert storytellers demonstrate the art of storytelling to students
- Kahaani Express will be conducted in 470 schools in 24 cities across India.
- 3 best stories will be selected from each of the 470 schools.
- There will be one winner per city and that student will automatically get an opportunity to participate in the national level finals.
- The finals will be held in Kolkata and the best storyteller will win the title of National Champion 2015!
