When summer kicks in, the one thing that’s on my child’s mind is mangoes. Experimenting with this summer ingredient is always fun and refreshing. Adding a bit of chocolate and whipped cream just makes everything better – especially during this festive week. My children and I are always excited to celebrate every festival, be it Easter or Diwali. This time we thought about reinventing Easter desserts.
Zeba Kohli, an acclaimed chocolatier and the Founder of Fantasie Fine Chocolate shares her famous delicious Chocolate Trellis recipe with mangoes and whipped cream. Ingredients
- Dark Chocolate
- Mangoes
- Matcha Powder
- Caramel
- Whipped Cream
Method:
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
- After the chocolate has melted put it in a piping cone.
- Cut the piping cone really thin and pour the melted chocolate in a mould to create a delicious trellis.
- Allow the chocolate to cool for 25 minutes and then remove the trellis.
- Garnish the plate with caramel and place the chocolate trellis in the centre.
- Fill the trellis with whipped cream.
- Dust Matcha powder on top of the whipped cream.
- Place a sliced mango next to the chocolate trellis and serve it with love.
