Your child’s mental well being is as crucial as their physical health. Often, in our country, we tend to neglect the mental health of our children and ourselves, primarily due to lack of awareness and also due to the taboo associated with mental health.
We caught up with Dr Zirak Marker– Child Psychiatrist, Expert Educational Psychology, Mpower Minds and we asked him what runs in a parent’s mind when it comes to their child’s mental well being. He explained how ‘responsible parenting defines our kids’ mental and physical health and how parents today, should strike the right balance between being friends with their kids and ensuring discipline at the same time.
