When Neelam asked her daughter – does she prefer you as a jewelry designer or an actress, she picked jewelry designer.
As parents, we are always juggling work and life. The pandemic hasn't been easy on any of us. From attending Zoom school to Zoom meetings, it seems the buck stops at us. But are we guilty when we are unable to do it all? Do we feel that our kids need more of our time? Is it ok, to say, "I can't do more", "I need to think about my career, too" I feel this debate is a forever one, and we will never really get many answers?
Similarly, we spoke to one of Bollywood's loved 90's actress, Neelam Kothari about her career and motherhood. She has always been a heartthrob and still is in her upcoming show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood's Wives.
- She speaks to us about how her husband was her strength to make a come back on the reel
- About how they divide roles as mom and dad and parenting is well balanced
- How mom-guilt always takes over when you put in the extra hours at work
- How her parents allowed her to enter the industry at 16 but if she would be ok to do so.
This conversation was candid and no-barred. It was real and relatable. Yes, Sameer, Neelam's husband is the referee but Neelam is ensuring everyone sticks to the rules of the house.
