The Natovenator polydontus, isn’t that a mouthful? This fascinating dinosaur was recently discovered in a remote jungle in South America by a team of palaeontologists.

Going back to dinosaurs, it’s a truly remarkable find, as this dinosaur species was previously unknown to science. Does this mean dinosaurs are back? Are you scared, or do you want to find out more?

The fossils revealed that the Natovenator polydontus was a meat-eating dinosaur, also known as a theropod. It lived about 90 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period, which makes it one of the last dinosaurs to roam the Earth before the mass extinction event.
