The Max! Kids program was recently launched in Mumbai at an event that saw their massive ballroom turned into a paradise zone for children! The Max! Kids Program is a one of a kind initiative that will boost and enrich the travel experiences of young travellers. Gone are the days when a hotel room was just to unload your bags while you explored the outdoors. Now families are spending time at the hotel relaxing and putting their feet up in between exploring the city. So Marriot wants to make sure children in the age group of 5-12 are having fun too!

There are more and more families looking to travel as a way not just to relax but also to provide learning opportunities for their children. Especially in the Asia Pacific region, families want to travel in and around India and soak in everything the region has to offer. Hence, Marriott wants its members to be able to not just travel but also make sure they take back tons of learning even while they stay at the hotel.

Max! is based on four activity pillars: Be Active (action packed sessions like swim lessons, zumba classes, football, basketball etc.), Stay Curious (cooking activities, arts and crafts, kite making, local activities, etc), Go Explore (adventure trails, city tours, museum trips etc), and Just Relax (reading room, music club, nail bar etc). These will be available to all members staying at Marriott hotels participating in the program throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

The launch party that KSP was invited to, gave us a sense of how important children are to the future of the Marriott group. Children were asked to accompany dignitaries on stage to cut the cake and formally launch the program. Then the entire ballroom turned into an activity zone where kids learnt how to cook from Master Chef Junior judge Surjan Singh Jolly. They even got to indulge in a face painting, nail art, photo booths, and arts and crafts!

This program launches at participating hotels from December 21st. So make sure to select a Marriott hotel for your stay while you travel during Christmas and New Year. You never know what you might learn on your travels!
