Recipe: 3 Tiered Chocolate Cake

If you want to know more about Secret Sprinkles click hereKeeping the festivities in mind we have some yummy cakes to indulge in and here is the recipe for it:Ingredients125 ml water60 g butter ( room temperature)2 tablespoon cocoa sifted150 g plain flour sifted1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda sifted220g caster sugar60 ml buttermilk1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extractFrosting Ingredients50 g softened butter250g cream cheese160g icing sugar sifted25 g cocoa siftedInstructionsPreheat oven to 150 degPlace the water,butter and cocoa in saucepan over medium heat and stir until the butter has meltedPlace the flour,soda and sugar in a bowl,add the cocoa mixture and mix to combineAdd the eggs,buttermilk,vanilla and whisk to combineDivide mixture between 2 lightly greased 12 cm round cake tins lined with baking sheetsBake for 40-45 mins or until cooked when tested with a skewerAllow to cool in the tins.Turn out onto the wire racks to cool completelyTo make your frosting ,follow the step belowPlace the butter and cheese in a bowl and whisk 10 mins until pale and creamy.

3 TIER CHOCOLATE CAKE

Keeping the festivities in mind we have some yummy cakes to indulge in and here is the recipe for it:

Ingredients 

  1. 125 ml  water
  2. 60 g butter ( room temperature)
  3. 2 tablespoon cocoa sifted
  4. 150 g plain flour sifted
  5. 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda sifted
  6. 220g caster sugar
  7. 60 ml buttermilk
  8. 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Frosting Ingredients

  1. 50 g softened butter
  2. 250g cream cheese
  3. 160g icing sugar sifted
  4. 25 g cocoa sifted

Instructions 

  1.  Preheat oven to 150 deg
  2.  Place the water,butter and cocoa in saucepan over medium heat and stir until the butter has melted
  3.  Place the flour,soda and sugar in a bowl,add the cocoa mixture and mix to combine
  4.  Add the eggs,buttermilk,vanilla and whisk to combine
  5.  Divide mixture between 2 lightly greased 12 cm round cake tins lined with baking sheets
  6.  Bake for 40-45 mins or until cooked when tested with a skewer
  7. Allow to cool in the tins.Turn out onto the wire racks to cool completely

To make your frosting ,follow the step below

  1.  Place the butter and cheese in a bowl and whisk  10 mins until pale and creamy.
  2.  Add the icing sugar and cocoa and beat for further 8 mins until light and fluffy
  3. To assemble,slice the cakes in half horizontally.Place one cake layer on a plate and spread with frosting.Repeat with remaining layers.

Voila there is your 3 TIER CHOCOLATE CAKE!
